HOPE Hub

Open Tuesdays 9:30am – 1:00pm

157 Nicolson Avenue

Please note: The Hub is closed during school holidays.

The Hub is a welcoming and inclusive space at the heart of our community, run entirely by dedicated volunteers. It’s a place where everyone is welcome to take a hard-earned break, enjoy a freshly made barista coffee, a cookie, or a toasted sandwich, all offered at low cost.

If you’re going through a tough time, don’t worry—our pay-it-forward system ensures there’s always something available, no questions asked. It’s just one of the many ways we support each other here.

More than just a café, The Hub is a space to build meaningful connections. Come for a chat, meet new friends, or join in the weekly craft activity or community event. Whether you’re outgoing or just looking for a calm place to be around others, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere here.

If you’d like to learn more about volunteering or how you can get involved, please contact The Hub—we’d love to hear from you!

Tool library at the Hub

Open Tuesdays 9:30am – 1:00pm

HOPE Hub, 157 Nicolson Avenue

We have a wide range of power and manual tools including mowers, blowers, trimmers, and shovels that you can be borrowed just for a day or for a few days. You’ll need some ID with you to be able to borrow any tools.

HOPE Conversation Log

The HOPE Conversation Log is a simple tool to help us keep track of important things we hear in conversations with the community through deep listening.

Whether it’s something good, something that needs to change, or just something that stands out, we want to make sure it’s remembered. By writing it down here, we can look back later and use it to guide how HOPE supports the community in the future.

It doesn’t have to be perfect, just share what you heard or noticed, in your own words. Every voice matters, and this tool helps us make sure those voices are heard.
